We were honoured to have new clients, Joe & Laura Drew here with us on island recently. They enjoyed the hospitality our people showed and thought comfortable being around them; surprisingly with this being their first visit to the country. After Laura took a dizzy turn before taking one of our tours, Polynesian Xplorer staff leapt into action, rushing her to our local hospital, Tupua Tamasese Meaole in Motootua to be seen by the A&E clinic. There was no problem with Laura in the end (other than perhaps the heat and a little over excitement!) however this turn of events left Joe & our tour guide, Mulifusi, lots of time to chat.
During this time we discovered that Joe was indeed a chiropractor by profession! By the end of the afternoon Joe had fixed Mulifusi’s back, and he was indeed a happier man. World travels fast at Polynesian Xplorer, and soon Francois Martel, our CEO, heard about this skilled client of ours. After a short visit to our office at the end of the day, Joe was able to ‘fix him up’ also.
Therefore, Polynesian Xplorer was delighted to offer our guests an FOC West Coast Upolu Island tour, to allow Laura to make the most of her booking on another day, and to say thank you to our new found friend, Joe Drew – the master back fixer! One never knows who they will meet in the amazing tourism industry, but here at Polynesian Xplorer we take pride in offering top of the line service to our guests, and of course in the end, making friends and lifelong connections.
